How Does a Latex Shoot Work?

Many of my clients ask before their first shoot: "How does it work with you?" A fair question. A photo shoot is a personal situation, sometimes an intimate one. Knowing what to expect makes the difference between a stiff image and a real one.

Here is the exact process.

Everything begins with a short message. Via the contact form, WhatsApp or Instagram. I always ask: what do you have in mind? What should the images show, and what do you need them for?

I respond personally, usually within 24 hours. No automated replies, no form chaos. If the project feels right, we arrange a date.

Before every shoot, my clients receive a questionnaire. Not bureaucratic box-ticking, but real questions: What should a stranger feel when they see your image for the first time? Which images inspire you? What do you absolutely not want?

Those who take the time to answer honestly get different images. Better images. Because I understand who you are before I take a single shot.

You arrive, we talk briefly. Not about the shoot, but about you. How was your day, how do you feel, what do you need to settle in. It sounds like a small thing, but it makes the biggest difference.

Then we begin. I direct little, I observe a lot. Most of my best images are made in the moments between poses. When someone stops performing and simply is.

After the shoot I go through all the images and make a first selection. The best shots go into a private online gallery that only you can see. You choose what you like.
